There's no reasonable fan who doesn't get excited at the prospect of new elements arriving into the universe. But bitching is far from an apt term to describe previous conversations, at least for most. Those here who concern themselves deeply with story have a good grasp of what makes a great tale, and in Sarah Palmer's case, an interesting and complex character.

For me, I'm quite excited at the prospect of a series detailing the infancy of the fourth generation Spartan program and their subsequent independence from the Army and Navy. Spartan training, whether it be in The Fall of Reach or Ghosts of Onyx, seems to attract everyone into the experience from the comfort of one's couch. That being said, I'm disappointed with the continued over-saturation of special forces in the Haloverse. No love for the ordinary dudes at the front. :(
