I don't outright hate her. I just don't yet see how her character behaving as she does has any payoffs within the story. Until she develops significantly, she's just kind of obnoxious because of the focus they're giving her without any further exploration of where she came from and where she's going. She's like a person in the room who does nothing to help with a group project, but talks really loudly at everyone the whole time. Until she actually finds some purpose, she's always just going to be that person yelling in a corner.

Perhaps this comic will change that. Who knows, her backstory may end up making us more sympathetic to her character. One can hope, even if I'm not fully expecting that to be the case. If past comics and EU production are any indication, this will likely just be "more of Palmer exactly as she is in the game".
