I didn't get the MCC until a few months ago, and the only because it's a convenient way to play the old campaigns.

But even then, no, what happened doesn't bug me. It sucks, for sure. But it was never going to be an amazing game. It was basically just marketing to drive hype for Halo 5, and so they didn't go two years without their biggest franchise on the Xbox One. I never expected it to get a ton of support or attention from them after release. They've actually done a whole lot more than I would have expected, honestly.

It's not a perfect experience, but it works. That alone is impressive given what the MCC is. Matchmaking with four separate games from two old systems probably isn't easy. No surprise then that it's not seamless and perfect.

Also, given the lukewarm reaction to Halo 4 and the rage over MCC, 343i knows Halo 5 has to deliver. It's now or never. So I'm betting on Halo 5 being good.
