I'm still quite bitter about the debacle that was the MCC -- the glitches, the months of ineffective patches, the missing features, the permanently hobbled online population. There was never even a proper explanation, AFAIK, for why it happened.

So I'm not exactly excited for Halo 5. Sure, there's lots of promising footage and promised features out there, but I saw the same hype for MCC and got burned bad. There's no telling if it will be a buggy mess like AC Unity, or have mismanaged multiplayer like Halo 4, or a mediocre story like Destiny.

Not to say that I'm boycotting the game. I'll probably get it if it works. But I absolutely refuse to preorder this or any other game, or buy it until multiple reviews confirm it has no glaring problems.

What about the rest of HBO? Is anybody else still sore about the MCC fiasco, or has the marketing machine succeeded in getting you to pay up front?
