Huh, I guess that clears it up once and for all, I was thinking we'd have to look at the coordinates for the explosions and then plot them and then maybe it would still be vague; thanks.
The straightforward explanation would be the formation of 343 Industries and probably the egg designer moving to it, but it feels like a stretch to be so elaborate for that, and to have the name be decided and know what it is at least about two years ahead of time.
The other straightforward thing would be something about 343 Guilty Spark, maybe about fighting him or about his role in events... maybe his personality, his duplicitousness?
An out-there explanation would be a prediction of there being a second 343 Guilty Spark, but that would require knowing about it even farther ahead than with 343 Industries, about four years before it was put into a story... unless the story was changed... it always seemed to me like if the Ark was going to make another Halo, it should make another Monitor, since the material resources and time required would be insignificant in comparison to everything else, and it seems like an important job, one you would want to have filled... hmm....
