too many cooks in the kitchen

In Response To: 343, MCC, and the death of hype (Schooly D)

seems like everything was slapped together by too many out-sourced companies/individuals.

Companies that may not have the seem people on staff, or have bigger and better projects to worry about.

If 343 didn't actually write code for the MCC, then it will take a long time to fix, b/c they've got to figure out how the damn thing works. If they go back to the original out-sourcer, then hopefully their staff hasn't moved onto other companies/projects, or they will have to re-learn as well.

A project this big and with this many pieces probably has very little institutional knowledge. It all evaporated when people move on.
