This is kind of how I had hoped we would get to fly the Pelican. No pilot, or the pilot died. Chief has to get somewhere, and has to get there fast. A "Give me a minute to interface with the ship's controls/No, no need. I'll take this bird out myself" sort of thing. Give the flight a countdown, like the end of Halo 1/3, but for God's sake, don't make it like Halo 4.

I was really excited when it came to piloting the Pelican in Halo 4. But you're right. It was completely different. It didn't feel like Halo anymore. It felt like "what the hell am I flying?" :(
