I felt like that before I stepped into the cockpit. Sorry, but that thing didn't look like a Pelican. The thing I wanted most, when I flew the Pelican, was to be able to walk through the troop bay and step into the pilot seat. It dates back to Halo: CE, where you could hop into a downed Pelican and wander back and forth through the troop bay, but there was a door preventing you from going any further.

You can't do that with a Halo 4 Pelican. Not because it wasn't rigged and animated that way, but because there IS NO CONNECTION between the troop bay and the pilot seat.
