You don't need to remind them of that. Our men and women in uniform are well aware of the risks they face every day without someone spouting off such nonsense back home. I'm sure you wouldn't say "If he makes it back home" personally in the presence of someone about to go overseas. Please don't say anything of the kind online, either.
