I'm going to try to find this link and post it, but a developer working with the PS4 basically said that it was essentially a PC, but since he had direct access to the graphics hardware, the graphics calls were up to 200 times faster in some instances. His opinion was that once folks get used to the PS4, it's going to smoke PCs and never look back.
