: The Next Xbox Reveal
: So Tuesday, May 21st we finally are shown the hand Microsoft will be playing
: against Sony this year with their new console. It's been a long time
: coming, and I had forgotten what it's like for some of the excitement and
: mystique around a new console launch! I would love to get people's
: expectations for the big reveal from HBO, a group of video game players
: I've come to respect the opinions of and value input from, haha, even when
: the blindly love the universe or jealously bash the successors.

: My thoughts to make it easy for people to read through, list a few things
: you'd like to see in the new Xbox and then list what you might expect from
: a Halo showing if anything. Looking forward to what you all can imagine
: and conjure up with those brains of yours!
: Xbox Xpectations - Expanded friend's list: not just 100+, but sortable and
: groupable.
: - Xbox Smartglass: I expect the app to further enhance it's second screen
: and truly involve some amazing support for games. This will also hopefully
: mean the standard controller will stay the same and not include a
: touchscreen!
: - Cross-game Play: Unique multiplayer experiences between full retail
: games, XBLA games, mobile and web games are something I would hope to see
: realized finally.
: Halo Hopes - I'm really hoping for an all together different approach to
: Halo games. A side story campaign expansion (or Spartan Ops season 2) akin
: to ODST or some kind of downloadable arcade game. I don't expect Halo 5 at
: all, but we may see some kind of "heartbeat teaser" trailer like
: we did way back with Halo 4 at E3 two years ago. Even a new set of
: multiplayer maps would be nice for Halo 4, but I want to see something of
: a new gameplay experience.
