: As far as I am aware, the tool kornman00 worked on does not require modding.
: It simply requires moving the file, via USB storage device, to your
: computer so a program can do naughty things to the 1's and 0's.
: Bungie and 343 Industries have not, as far as I am aware, ever banned anyone
: for playing a modded map or a modded game type in custom games.
: Having modded content in your file share is a bit of a grey area--Bungie
: cracked down on modded naughty images, but I'm not sure about maps or game
: types.
: Word on the street is that 343 Industries ignores modded maps and game
: types--they just want you to mark your modded content in the title so
: nobody unwittingly downloads a modded map or game type.
: I personally avoid modded content, but people like kornman00 make me drool a
: little bit when they show all these possibilities. But I thrive pushing
: the boundaries of limited tools, so meh.
I hope for an answer from kornman. I think relying on 343i's good graces when Xbox has a policy against modded content, is a mistake.
