Supply and demand.

Maybe next month the Ultra Edition Forge App will come out. All the maps it creates are transferrable to anyone but only owner/authors can create with it. Maybe an enviable suit of armour will come out that cost $5. Perhaps that suit of armour hadn't been envisioned during initial production.

I want games that can evolve a little bit between major releases. Since I only play Halo you can see which game I want to go that way. I believe the days of a game coming in a box and that's it for the title, are gone.

It's okay for some kinds of change to occur. It's not like I have to marry the game or live with it. It's just a game and it has no feelings.
