Do you really think Microsoft will put that stuff behind a paywall? That would negate all the goodwill they just earned by making the DLC maps free.

It kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think?

Maybe I'll be eating my words in a few months, but I really think Microsoft wants to do this right. The reputation of the brand depends on it.

It fits with the general "mea culpa" strategy being used in other divisions of the company as well. For example, Windows 10 (and, to a lesser extent, Windows 8.1 before it) is a HUGE backpedal from the insanity of Windows 8.
