I like what they've done with her too, at least in the games. That would be a case of where I think it's OK to lie to the audience-- when she says she wants revenge, I don't believe her for a second. Revenge is definitely on her mind, but I don't think it's what will really drive her, she's (maybe ironically) too cold for that. Whatever happens with her, I know I want to see it.
