I should really get around to trying modern AoS games (I DON'T WANNA SAY MOBA I DON'T WANNA SAY MOBA).

In the WC3 days I always thought DotA Allstars was a polished* but mediocre map; too much content for its own good, and the focus on ganking with fast kill times always made gameplay seem abrupt. But I enjoyed some AoS maps, like Tides of Blood and its ilk, which featured crazy maneuvering siege encounters which could persist for minutes at a time. Modern AoS descends from DotA Allstars, but obviously the scene has changed and expanded.

*Well, after Icefrog started working on it, anyway. Guinsoo DotA was a technical catastrophe.
