Esports ain't happening man. It's nice, and the culture is very demanding and those demands are generally the antithesis of artful games. You can absolutely design a competitive game that is artful (the list of such games is long), but the trend now with dota type shit is a step backwards.

I think this is where we disagree, but I think the REAL future of video games as an art form lies in single player and co-op. I hope 343 doesn't skimp on these elements.
