In their desire to save on the CG budget for one short series, 343 decided to go full Retard™ on their design choice for a species that will gain prominence in the franchise moving forward (similar to how Drones and Brutes were introduced, except those were neat)...

At least the Spartan Armors don't look as stupid. Here's hoping the Elite armor's damage has been undone.
