Agreed. The looming threat of the return of the Precursors is WAY more fascinating than more Forerunner stuff that can kill everything including humanity by accident or on purpose. Had that in Halo 4 and the Covenant Trilogy already explored the hell out of that. I want a threat that will be a danger to EVERYONE. The Precursors represent that and can lead to interesting political shakeups and alliances should they come back.
