So, we solved the Koslovic mystery.
But what about the Friedenists and Germany?

According to the original Xbox Timeline, the Friedenist movement in the Jovian Moons was backed by corporations of the "Unified German Republic". I assume this refers simply to Federal Germany.

So that would mean Germany settled the Jovian Moons and some of those colonists turned into rogue Fascists. This part right here is so stereotypical, but moving on.

Since Germany is already in the UN and the most important economy of Europe, I assume it was threatened by the UN to cease supporting the Friedenists lest... well... they get pummeled into the ground the third time.

And... that's all I've got at the moment. Will be back with more speculation once it hits me.
