Any money spent on SDTV is money lost. If you don't have the cash right now, you're going to have to be hard nosed about this. Put the converter and XB1 money away in savings. Find some habitual money sync you can do without and save that money too. I.E. Don't drink coffee for a year.

Other than that, add a new PC monitor ~$150-$200. Sit closer.
