I gotta disagree. I had fun the entirety of Episode 7.
: This "invasion" of Infinity by hundreds of
: Covenant and Promethean soldiers seems so futile when they could have done
: a better job being all stealthy and stuff. No warnings that active camo'ed
: Sangheili have seized the engine room or Knights are soon to translocate
: themselves right onto the bridge. That would have excited me more than an
: overly dispersed enemy. A threat that's backed against the wall, yet has
: all the advantage despite their odds.
I'd think they'd be able to pick up Active Camo some way, through Roland's sensors or whatever. Especially with the eye they kept on the Artifact. Also, did they say if Covenant were able to travel through that Artifact? And can anyone even come through from the other side? No one ever came through that way except Prometheans. Granted, Jul was able to eavesdrop using it. But I don't think stealth was much of an option. That left coming in heavy, which they did. And they might have won if it weren't for Crimson.
: What I find most displeasing with the boarding of Infinity , Halsey's
: capture notwithstanding, is that it had almost no mentioned effect on the
: ship and her crew afterwards. No hints towards crew morale sinking or a
: drop in combat effectiveness.
That's a fair criticism.
