The end is left purposefully mysterious and is hidden from the observers (ONI?) to conceal the fact that Noble Six was not killed on Reach and is an active field agent for the Assembly. Once Reach's defense had been toppled and ONI's representatives/Noble Team had been separated from Noble Six, Six was brought into the fold.
