: Auntie Dot was a double agent AI working for the real puppet masters, the
: Assembly (super AIs). As you experience the story of Halo Reach, it's
: really the version Auntie Dot wants you to see. After all, her image is
: flashed every time a level loads. The data feed isn't always with Noble
: Six either if you'll recall, as during the cut scenes, Auntie Dot/the
: Assembly purposefully move the audience's viewpoint away from Noble Six's
: helmet cam. She basically serves a similar purpose to ODST's
: Superintendent.

Only problem is that we never hear from Auntie Dot after Carter dies. If the above was true, I think that the Assembly had to come up with another spy or do a whole bunch of guesswork.
