If it doesn't work with 720p you are either selecting the wrong 720p (720p50 vs 720p60), you don't have the right drivers installed, or there is an HDCP issue. If you are capturing game footage that shouldn't be a problem, but some apps turn on HDCP like Netflix, etc.
