I especially like them when using a turret on a long-range enemy to judge how to pace my shots.

It's also super satisfying to throw a grenade across the map, wait, and see the little markers flicker on screen. That's a target, it's been hit, it's shields are weak. Now is the time to strike that location.

I wasn't a fan when it was added in Halo 4 and MCC, but it's definitely grown on me.
