In Response To: Odd diagonal lines impact graphic in H5 (Rockslider)

: Something's caught my attention in the campaign footage I've been watching.
: When your ordnance hits an enemy, you get short line segments radiating
: diagonally from the point of impact. I was initially thinking "Why is
: that impact-splash effect so bizarrely primitive?" But now I'm
: wondering if it's instead meant to be a HUD graphic to let you know you're
: hitting an enemy or something. Anyone know? And if it is just a HUD
: graphic, is there an option to turn it off? Because if I was playing, I
: think it would be bugging me quite a bit, being ugly superfluous clutter
: right at my point of focus.

Yeah they're hitmarkers. You get red ones for critical hits (headshots etc). I've not found it intrusive at all so far.
