Right, and the accessory on top doesn't change that.

Like I said, add a sniper scope to it, an acog, a red dot, or just iron sight and the range it can shoot doesn't change.

All the accessory does it make it easier to use with a range....or the weapons effective range.

What I'm trying to temper is the knee-jerk reaction of "OH NO IT HAS A REFLEX SITE NOW IT ONLY WORKS UP CLOSE" which is not necessarily the case unless the gameplay and stats of the weapon have been changed.

Basically, you can still donk on noobs across a map with it, you just don't have the luxury of a scope to zoom to assist you.

Unless the guns are all hit scan and then none of the sights matter outside their effective range data. No need to lead a target or account for bullet drop etc.

It's one of the things I really like about Battlefield.
