I've paid virtually zero attention to this thread, but I just want to chime in and say that for my money, DMR > BR 24/7/365. I will always rather have a DMR in my hands, than a BR.
The only game I liked the BR in was Halo 2, and that was pretty much because the AR was gone, and the SMGs were pretty lame. I'm an AR man, when I want accuracy, I want it to feel pinpoint and surgical. The DMR gives me that feeling. The BR and the way people use it has always felt more like a long range shotgun. Yeah, it's accurate, but you're sweeping it over a body to account for recoil and hoping that one of the three round burst actually hits the head.
Meh. I can't really explain it. I just don't like the BR.
