Vanquish is pretty much how you do weapons. There aren't a ton, but each is very different with strengths and weaknesses, but more importantly, the game is set up so that every weapon is useful in a lot of places, but also sucks in a lot of places. This, combined with the upgrade system, means you have a lot of interesting choices when you can only carry three.

The only downside are the DLC weapons. Really wish Platinum would stop with that.
