Yeah, I noticed similarities to modern systems, but those systems are intended for either long-distance marches or heavy lifting, not for combat. I'd expect them to add some armor plating of some sort to a battlesuit! :)

That does look a bit sleeker, but again, my problem isn't "It doesn't look futuristic enough." I'll stop now, I'm really just explaining an ill-conceived disdain for a movie I haven't even seen yet! I don't know how I could be any more crochety.
