So much as I hate Halo 4, Requiem is a megastructure. It's a celestial body, that's hollow, that has an inner sphere, which is also hollow. If that's not a megastructure, which by definition is something absolutely massive and artificial (and I think I multi-hollow sphered planetoid fits the bill), tell me what is.

I read plenty of EU books as a kid. Many of them didn't involve epic space battles on a grand scale. They were still very much Star Wars, and very much awesome. And lets be honest, the Original Trilogy features what... at most one massive space battle per film? I'd go so far as to say Empire didn't even have one. It's big battle was a ground fight on Hoth.
