What is your measuring stick for quality though? Is it time? Because Long development != Quality game. Neither is short. But that's the point - longer time doesn't guarantee quality. Personally, I'd prefer short development time with high quality results. (and won't simply dismiss a game just because it had a short dev period)
In short - it has to prove itself. Short dev time might lower quality expectations, but we can still be pleasantly surprised.
So, here's hoping they are doing that - making 5 as great as it can be.
