Well, I guess it does, but mostly because the story itself was poorly expressed and implemented.

What is Spartan Ops supposed to be about? Is it the continuing adventures of the crew of the UNSC, the story of Jul 'Madama, Majestic Team, and Sarah Palmer? Or is it a bunch of firefight maps pasted together with a thin veneer of narrative and a weekly cutscene?

If the latter, something like "Spartan Ops" is a terrific name.

Are the main characters Jul, Sarah Palmer, Majestic Team, and Halsey? If so, why not name the gametype after their story, rather than the faceless, useless group of nobodies we know as Crimson?
