Yeah I don't get it either

It makes sense to me. Operations is the definition of what they are- It's not like the Call of Duty franchise owns the abbreviation "ops". I much prefer Spartan Ops to....well, what alternatives are there?

Spartan Games?

Spartan Tales?

Spartan Missions?

Spartan Outings?

Spartan Exercises?

Spartan Picnics?

Spartan Shifts?

Spartan Trips?

On my list of things to worry about with Halo, this isn't even remotely on the radar.

But hey, what do I know?
