I didn't imagine that they would be that hard, or too numerous - just something that would happen rarely to keep you on your toes. They definitely wouldn't be Drone-Flood. That comes later...

The whole point of the Flood in this game would be to surprise you, the player, into thinking about them differently as an enemy A.I., a faction, and as a character.

"The Flood were cool and scary but sometimes I was just trying to get through those levels to get back to fighting the Covenant... until Halo 5, when they got awesome," says imaginary person after playing the game.
