: Then they go over the struggle with the Promethean enemy design. Unclear
: focus, what the priorities were. Defined boundaries between other enemy
: types.
I don't want to see them again. They aren't even Forerunners, the name suggested that they would be but they are not. What a let down.
Even if they added the missing units (Castles, Bishops?) they would still be saddled with the fiction that they were enslaved, brainwashed, cave men. There is not a lot that you can do with such unpromising material.
Lets have the adventures of Buck and co on Venezia. Or let's have the Chief embroiled in non-galactic-scope conflict. Not the end of the universe, win back the soul of humanity from ONI and the military rulers. Resolve some of the political tensions. And, no, I don't mean arbitrate tax disputes among the outlying colonies. Or maybe I do. It depends who is writing the story.
: At 11:46 he mentions one of the mission designers putting a Watcher with some
: Hunters - I honestly don't remember that happening in the game.
What do Watchers add to fighting Hunters?
: 12:18 - they talk about the Flood not coming back. Story rules the day. As an
: enemy 343i considers them 'exhausting and monotonous.' If they had brought
: the Flood in, Holmes says they would have done some 'major reinvention.'
: Hold your tongue, RC... hold your tongue...
Bringing back the Flood completely undermines Halo 3.
