: I kind of agree with that though honestly. The Flood as a character is
: interesting, but the encounters are quite monotonous. The only thing
: interesting about the Flood encounters is not always knowing if you

Personally, I found the Flood to fun to fight against in Halo 1. They simply swarmed you as a large group, making a b-line straight at you. It made for some tense encounters. The Flood were just boring to fight in Halo 2 & 3, though. The combat forms were fewer in number, they were more conservative combatants, and they also suffered from the damage balancing. Also, I hated the pure forms in Halo 3, especially those annoying-ass ranged forms.
