However, with the name "Halo" certain expectations are formed on "what" the game should be or should have been.

What's most depressing is that a lot of people had already made their minds up about it before it was even out anyway.

Again, certain names carry great expectations... often times unrealistic.

For all its perceived and actual faults, Halo 4 is by no means a "bad" game. Now that the dust has settled I find more things I like about it when I shut out all the negativity.
