Fo' serious. I have no idea why so many people think a Halo 2 remake is the most logical conclusion for this year.

I think 343 is in a much better place than they were 3 years ago though. The studio started out with like, what, just a handful of people? They ended up with 200-300 something people by the end of Halo 4's development cycle. Either way, I'd rather they take their time and make a great product rather than shitting something out because of trends in modern gaming.

What about another studio doing like a cheap spin-off game using Halo 4's engine in the mean time? I think that could turn out... alright.
