I do miss controlling a maps high points (jetpacks), clean arena maps, and ctf/assult but b****ing about it won't change what it is at this point. I enjoy what I can in H4 - and I do enjoy it thoroughly. It's still a blast to play but I find myself playing 'developer' over and over; "I don't know why they would make this do that. Why would the power weapon ever despawn in a handful of seconds after being dropped?" - But then I realize I've said that since H2 was released ("Why do I have moon-boots!!!! ARG!!!").
It stinks when the people I've been playing Halo with for years and years say something to the effect of "Halo is for little kids now". It feels like each iteration of Halo just gets a little more convoluted than its predecessor.
