: number of unusual Covenant weapons over the years, but the only ones that
: got used consistently were the Plasma Pistol and Needler. In Reach, for
: instance, people mostly used the DMR, Sniper, Shotgun etc. even though
: really interesting and cool options like the Plasma Launcher and Focus
: Rifle were available. I was disappointed along with many others that the
: new Forerunner weapons were pretty boring, but I guess the numbers show
: that the bulk of the audience wants boring.

The problem with that is most players are only ever going to use the UNSC weapons anyway.
