: easily. And the surfaces wouldn't have all those blemishes and crinkles
: and the edges wouldn't look like they had been crimped with pliers.

: quickly. Find them easier to edit. And the results would look nicer.

Given that they've got a host of professionals working there, I think the obvious answer is that it's an intentional design choice.
