I'd hold off on the complaints about characterization, because once they've killed off half the characters that don't matter they'll focus more on Locke, Macer, and Aiken. Whether or not they flesh them out in compelling ways is of course up in the air.

All I know is that the ONI guy watching his kids on his wrist is 100% not going to make it home to be with them.
