That's what's confusing me, as well. How did this massive a swarm get together? Seems like far more than what goes into even a Scarab.

I wish it was the Flood too, personally. Whether it's worms or Flood, the enemy is a Thing; you can't necessarily reason with it, it's a force for the characters to fight. With those parameters, the Flood is far more engaging to me.
