The Prometheans could be in a separate mode from the main game; like the Flood in the Xbox versions of Spartan Assault.
Speaking of Spartan IVs, I wonder who the protagonist of this game is. My first thought was "BLUE TEAM!", but I guess it's more likely to be:
* another "special" Spartan-III, like the ones in Reach (probably an original character rather than Jun)
* someone from a previously secret augmentation program preceding/competing with the Spartan-IVs (probably an original character rather than Ilsa Zane); but simply referred to as a Spartan (or Spartan-IV) in-game
* a Spartan-V.
Come to think of it, as far as I know none of those is incompatible with it being Jameson Locke.
(Other underexplored Spartans who it probably isn't: René-005, Kirk-018, Maria-062, Cassandra-075, Fhajad-084.)
