: Campaign: Bad enemy design
: Bad level design
: Bad writing
: Invisible walls
The writing is certainly terrible and the enemy (and weapon and vehicle) variety is a bit lacking, but I enjoyed the enemies and levels. The prometheans remind me of the flood, in that they are neat enemies that a lot of fun in small doses, but can't quite carry a level themselves. There were some clunker levels and invisible walls are always annoying, but those issues aren't new to Halo 4. I had a lot of fun playing the campaign.
: Multi: Custom loadouts
: Ordnance
: Armor abilities
: No red Xs
: Bad maps
: Dumb new medals (single kill? Really?)
: Horrible gametype changes
: Imbalanced
: Several custom gametype options were either missing or didn't work
I didn't care for the direction the MP went and agree with a lot of that, but perhaps not to the same extent. I still had some fun with it. I'm definitely glad Halo 5 seems to be reversing course.
: Both: Worst UI ever. Of all time.
: Sprint
: Slight bloom (on DMR)
: Flinch (as opposed to descope)
: Shitty online stats
I actually like sprint. Especially since shooting players slows them down. Sprint->melee->melee was a bit annoying in Reach. Other parts I agree with.
: Cut features: Playing as an Elite
: Campaign theater
: Zoom/percision control in forge
: Firefight
: Rendered films
: No screenshots on their website (at launch)
: No in-game file search (at launch)
: Several popular gametypes were cut
: Several emblems were cut
That all definitely sucked. I forgot about the file share, screenshot and theater issues. Most importantly they cut the phoenix emblem and dreamcatcher background. Unforgivable!
: There's probably a lot more I'm blocking from memory.
You didn't even mention the terrible art direction!
I definitely agree that the game has a lot of issues, but I still had fun with it.
