Believe it or not, Destiny's gameplay is pretty solid. It's actually really baffling playing a game that may be one of the most mechanically sound and fun to play of any game in recent memory, but for the world to be so empty, grind-y, and repetitive. Halo 4's core mechanics were all it had going for it, the weapons were busted from launch and many still are, weapons spawned in the ground on maps, there were quick time events, the level designs may be more linear than H2's, and the list goes on and on for why the campaign and multiplayer in H4 are just flat out bad.
Also, better feature set and content? Not even close. Speaking of content, some of the worst DLC maps I've ever played in a shooter. Any shooter. And that says a lot, because I've played some terrible games in my day, and Halo 4 (while not the worst) is pretty up there. Destiny absolutely is not.
Also, your opinion loses some points because you still think Halo 2 is the best Halo game. And while I think you're totally awesome and I absolutely adore Halo 2, it's totally not the best Halo. :P
