Yeah, the UNSC as the dominant political force in human civilization is finally at an end according to Catalog. Will still be interesting to see what vestiges of their rule will remain in the UEG structure. Sadly, the emergency powers granted to them seriously emboldened an already feisty Office of Naval Intelligence.

I am very excited to see Halo take the time to talk about Earth and her empire in the 26th century and rip it apart to analyse just what the hell went wrong up until the beginning of the Great War and in the years following it.
