Bungie had a small group (compared to the upcoming Beta) to test an Alpha of Destiny. I don't see why 343i can't do something like this for the superforgers they like to feature in news or whatever.

After all, they would be testing Forge's usefulness and abilities, not so much the game in general. I imagine H5 devs have got to be in their official world editor 99.9999% of the time, leaving it up to testers to peruse those maps in Forge. Testers who probably are assigned to multiple aspects of game QA.

So, how about they put some of the franchise's big budget aside to get a Forge beta to the people who will be actually using it?
